In order to officially complete The Natural Resources All Families Foundation International Established Doula Certification Program, you will need to purchase this application.
You will receive an email with a link to the submission portal, through which, you will upload copies of the completed paperwork from your Certification Packet. Following submission, our team will review your application, and finally email your official certificate.
CERTIFICATION PROCESS
- Purchase the Certification Packet ($50 fee is non-refundable)
- You will receive a download explaining the process and requirements with links to the material required to submit your Certification Application
- Once you have completed all the requirements purchase this application to gain access to the submission portal
- Submit requirements
- The application will be reviewed
- Your certificate will be provided within 30 days
- At our discretion, expedited service may be available for an additional $75.
Re-certification is required every 5 years.
Per Natural Resources All Families Foundation, an established doula has worked with a minimum of 25 families as a birth and/or postpartum doula.
Required items to submit for sucessful completion will be in the packet you recieve after purchasing. Here is a general overview of requirements:
– Proof of Doula Training completion
– Proof of current Adult and Infant/Child CPR & Safety Certification (must maintain certification)
– 4 Professional Recommendations from professionals in the birth, postpartum, and/or newborn care field (This may include Doulas, Educators, Midwives, OB/Gyns, Pediatricians, IBCLCs, and other perinatal or allied professionals)
– Proof of 15 Professional Development hours that have been completed in the previous 5 years.
– Provide 3 one page Book/Film reflections
– Provide client evaluations and Doula reflections from 6 clients supported within the last 5 years.
